Who this helps
PupSchedule organizes a dog's age-based care plan and everyday activity. Its strongest introduction is the household asking, “When did the puppy last eat or go outside, and who did it?” The app combines those records with reminders, history, and an age-based checklist. New puppy owners, partners dividing care, and families looking after several dogs are practical audiences.
Start with the person's actual difficulty. One owner needing a simple daily record can use Free. A couple who need shared care may benefit from Premium. Someone who wants automatic tracking from a collar, a veterinary diagnosis, or a guaranteed house-training result needs a different solution. The app records what people enter; it does not sense feeding, sleep, or outdoor activity.
The first-year plan is useful context, including vaccines, deworming, socialization, and training milestones. The owner must confirm medical timing with their veterinarian. Do not turn a sample schedule or reminder into a prescription, feeding quantity, or claim that care is overdue medically. An adult dog can still use daily care records and custom reminders after passing the first-year milestones.
Discovery before a recommendation
Ask these questions in a normal conversation:
- How old is the dog, and is the birthdate known or estimated?
- What gets forgotten or duplicated: meals, potty breaks, walks, or communicating with another caregiver?
- Who needs to see the records, and how many dogs are involved?
- Would one custom reminder solve the immediate problem, or are several needed?
- Will they mainly use a browser or an installed phone app?
- Do they want a record to discuss at a vet visit, or are they asking for medical guidance?
A useful response is specific: “You and your partner both feed Biscuit, so I would show the latest meal and household sharing.” Avoid leading with a paid plan when the free first step solves their need.
Plans and purchase choices
The current US web Premium prices are $8.99/month or $89.99/year. Eligible new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial on either plan. Web checkout asks for a card; free account creation itself does not charge the owner. After the trial the selected plan renews unless canceled. Lifetime is no longer sold; existing Lifetime owners retain access. Read the actual checkout or store purchase sheet for regional pricing, trial eligibility, first charge date, and renewal terms.
Free includes one dog, daily care logging, weight records, history, raw care CSV, and one active custom reminder. Premium adds multiple dogs, household sharing, up to 30 active custom reminders, care progress summaries, a vet PDF, and a photo journal. The journal's pictures remain on the device; photo access is not a cloud photo backup feature.
Choose the smallest suitable option. One dog and one reminder can start free. Two dogs, household collaboration, or a second active custom reminder provide clear reasons to consider Premium. Do not describe raw CSV as Premium-only simply because the formatted vet PDF is paid. A downgrade preserves care history, while access to extra Premium capabilities and extra active reminders changes.
The web uses web checkout. Compatible installed apps use Apple or Google purchase controls and restore. Store prices, currency, and available offers can differ. A website receipt and a store receipt are different billing channels. Customers should review the confirmation sheet themselves; an affiliate should never request a password or payment details.
Lesson 1 — Preview and save the puppy's plan
Have the customer begin from your own current PupSchedule share link. The first-run puppy form asks for name, birthdate, and optional breed. If a birthday is estimated, explain that it drives approximate age-based dates. Confirm the estimate with the person who knows the dog; never fabricate a date as a medical fact.
The preview shows upcoming first-year items. Choose Save [name]’s plan free to create the free account, or Sign in for an existing account. Saving an account is the step that keeps the plan with the owner across devices; merely viewing a preview is not registration. A selected Premium offer can carry through account setup, but the owner still reviews the purchase.
After signing in, check the puppy name at the top. Use the pet chips to switch dogs and + to add another when the plan permits. The main tabs are Today, Coach, Plan, Reminders, History, and Settings. If saved dogs seem missing, check the login and selected dog before creating duplicates.
Lesson 2 — Log care where it happens
In Today, the What just happened? controls record pee, poop, an accident, a meal, water, a walk, sleep, and weight. A quick activity tap records the current time. Wait for the saved message and inspect recent activity. Do not tap repeatedly because a network connection is slow.
For sleep, choose Start sleep, then Woke up when the sleep period ends. For weight, enter the measured value and correct unit. This is recordkeeping; a graph or entry cannot diagnose whether a dog is growing normally.
Use Add an earlier activity or note when the event happened earlier. In History, Edit lets you correct an activity's time or note, and deletion asks for confirmation. Correct the mistaken record instead of adding a contradictory duplicate. Household members' entries identify the caregiver after synchronization.
Today at a glance summarizes entered activity, and recent rows show what was last recorded. “No meal logged” means no recorded meal, not proof that nobody fed the dog. When unsure, ask the other caregiver before acting.
Lesson 3 — Plan and reminders
Open Plan for the age-based checklist and Puppy milestones for developmental context. Check off an item only when the relevant action happened. Marking a checkbox creates history; it does not book a veterinary appointment, administer a treatment, or notify the veterinarian.
Open Reminders or use Add reminder on Today. Give it a practical title and choose its schedule. The app supports one-time reminders, a daily local time, and an interval after an associated care activity or completion. The correct mode matters: a fixed morning meal reminder behaves differently from an interval measured after the last logged event.
Save, then read the displayed next time. Use Edit to correct it, Pause to stop an active reminder, and Enable to resume it within the plan's active-reminder limit. Done, or the relevant Log action, records completion. A daily reminder completed early keeps its regular daily alert time.
Installed apps can schedule device notifications when permission is granted. The web shows reminders in the app; do not promise browser push delivery. Calendar export is a snapshot of the next occurrence, not a continuously synchronized subscription to all future changes. Changes to a reminder do not automatically rewrite an earlier imported calendar item.
Lesson 4 — Household collaboration and synchronization
In Settings, find Household sync. A Premium household can generate an invitation for another caregiver. The other person signs into their own account, enters the invitation code, and uses Join household. Check the member list and the same dog's records afterward. Do not share one person's password.
A household invitation joins care records. It is not an affiliate referral link and does not prove a qualifying paid referral. Joining an already shared household can require support so existing records are handled safely; do not suggest deleting accounts to force a move.
Care records can wait locally for a connection. Read the message describing saved changes waiting to sync, then choose Sync now after reconnecting. A locally saved change has not necessarily reached the other caregiver. Keep the device and account intact until pending changes are resolved.
If A saved change needs attention appears, read the conflict. Keep my version retries the local version where offered; Use shared version accepts the shared record. Download saved changes preserves recovery information. Avoid clearing storage or uninstalling while unsynced work remains, and ask support when the correct version is unclear.
Lesson 5 — History, progress, pictures, and exports
History contains daily activity and completed age-based items. Check the selected dog and timestamps before discussing a record. The raw care CSV provides entered data; open the saved file to make sure the download succeeded.
Premium View progress or Care progress summarizes entered records. Explain the difference between trends in logs and verified health outcomes. Missing entries, incorrect times, and different caregivers' habits can affect a summary.
The Premium Vet report produces a formatted PDF for discussing care history. Use the real data owner's permission, check the selected dog, save or share the file, then open it. A successful button tap is not proof that a file reached the intended recipient. The report is not an official medical record or a vet's endorsement.
Settings also opens Photo journal. Photos stay on that device while activity and schedules sync with the account. Keep originals elsewhere if they matter. Do not promise that signing into a replacement phone restores journal pictures.
Lesson 6 — Account and billing help
Use Settings to check Premium status and the original account. For a completed web payment that has not activated, reconnect and reopen Settings before contacting support. For a store purchase, use the relevant Restore purchases control with the original store identity and correct PupSchedule login. Do not buy a second time to fix a pending activation.
Cancel a web subscription through its web billing route; cancel Apple or Google renewals through the relevant store subscription settings. Deleting the app or account is not the same as canceling a store subscription. Read any deletion consequences and preserve needed exports before choosing permanent deletion.
Send feedback in Settings lets a customer explain a problem and choose whether a reply is welcome. Provide the account email, dog name, app version, device, exact step, and error wording. Never include passwords or full card details. For referral questions, contact support@residualapps.com with the product name and dashboard evidence.
A five-minute demonstration
Use a clearly labeled practice account and fictional dog, “Demo Biscuit.” Do not enter synthetic care into a customer's household.
- Ask who feeds the dog and what they need to coordinate.
- Show the age-based preview and explain the free-account save step.
- Open Today, log a fictional meal, and find it in recent activity.
- Open History and correct the demo time or add “Practice entry.”
- Create one clearly labeled sample reminder and read back its next time. Use a neutral demo time, not medical advice.
- Show the sync status and explain where another caregiver joins if Premium is relevant.
- Match the plan to the stated need and let the customer open your personal referral link themselves.
The desired first result is one accurate care entry and one understandable reminder. A purchase is optional at that step.
Sales examples and objections
Permission-based introduction: “Do you ever have to text each other to check whether the puppy ate? PupSchedule keeps meal and potty records together. I can show you one entry and a reminder in a few minutes. I'm an affiliate and may earn a commission if you purchase through my link.”
After an invited demo: “Were you able to save your dog's plan and record today's first care activity? If the other caregiver also needs access, household sharing is the Premium feature to compare.” These are examples to adapt, not messages already sent.
“I already use a notebook.” Keep it if it works. Show the specific benefit they asked for, such as shared history or reminders.
“Will it potty-train my puppy?” It organizes observations and routines. Training results depend on the dog and the care provided.
“Can I use it without paying?” Yes: one dog, daily records, and one active custom reminder are free.
“Will photos show on my partner's phone?” The photo journal is device-local. Shared activity does not imply shared photo storage.
“Why didn't the alert arrive?” Check whether this was a browser or installed app, notification permission, the saved schedule, selected dog, and Premium limit. Do not rely on an alert for urgent care.
Referral credit and readiness
Copy the PupSchedule link or QR from your Residual Apps dashboard, verify its destination, and disclose the relationship near the recommendation. Have a new customer start there before registration. Generic homepages, another person's code, household invitations, device changes, and store handoffs are not interchangeable attribution paths.
Published gross rates remain 41.7% of qualifying monthly payments and 50% of qualifying annual payments. The existing 40% lifetime rate concerns qualifying historical lifetime transactions; lifetime is no longer sold. Commission is based on the qualifying paid sale, so older dollar illustrations do not describe the current offer. A free trial creates no paid-sale commission. These are published gross rewards, not guaranteed take-home income. Annual and lifetime payments do not create monthly commissions. Refunds, eligibility, attribution, and program fees affect earnings; consult the current dashboard. A click and a free account are not a paid sale.
Before promoting, answer these: Can one owner use one dog free? Does a second active custom reminder need Premium? Are pictures cloud-synced? Is a pending local log visible to everyone? Does an annual purchase create monthly reward installments? Where does someone cancel a store subscription?
Answers: yes; yes; no; not until synchronized; no; in the original store's subscription controls. Also demonstrate a saved activity, corrected history, one reminder, and the correct affiliate link without making a real customer purchase.

Coach and training after the first care record
The current Coach tab adds potty and sleep coaching based on the owner’s logs, a weekly report, week-by-week training lessons, trick practice, and a growth chart with breed-size context. These extend the app beyond the basic care checklist.
Start with accurate logged activity, then open the relevant Coach card and read what it uses. Premium unlocks the full coaching, lesson, trick, and growth tools shown in its offer. A prediction or projection is not an observed event, diagnosis, guaranteed outcome, or replacement for a veterinarian or qualified trainer.
When demonstrating, show the input record and resulting suggestion together. Explain uncertainty when logs are sparse or the birthday, size, or weight was estimated. Choose one relevant tool, rather than making a family tour every card before saving its first meal or potty entry.
Use PupSchedule, then help improve it
Use the app yourself before pitching it. Practice this guide’s main workflow in your own account with fictional demonstration data. On the platform you plan to show, confirm which controls and plan limits are available. Describe a personal result only when you actually experienced it.
If you use PupSchedule, tell us through your private partner goals and app feedback page: which platform and app/browser version you use; what works well; what feels confusing, slow, or unnecessary; any bug and the steps that caused it; and the improvement that would help you most. Say whether you use it regularly, tried it once, or are learning it for a demonstration. “I haven’t used it yet” is a useful answer too.
For a problem, describe what you expected and what happened. Share only redacted screenshots when helpful. Do not include customer names or emails, passwords, child PINs, payment details, medical documents, or other private customer information. The partner feedback page helps us learn from actual use; urgent product or billing issues still belong with the app’s official support.
Use the same page to tell us your sales goal, why it matters, your available time, and what help would make your next step realistic. Feedback is welcome whether or not you have made a sale.
