Updated October 17, 2026. WrestleFlow Teams helps wrestling programs organize rosters, attendance, schedules, parent information, travel, and digital scorebooks. This guide follows the current website at teams.wrestleflow.com and its actual account and plan pages.
Recommend the correct product
WrestleFlow Teams is a specific product with organization access and billing. Do not substitute the main WrestleFlow website, WrestleRef, or another ecosystem subscription. Someone having a related account does not automatically establish Teams membership, access to a particular season, or a qualifying Teams affiliate purchase.
Good prospects include a school coach, club administrator, or scorekeeper whose program needs a shared place for its records. A team organizer can buy a program subscription; invited coaches, wrestlers, and parents join the existing team at no additional per-user charge. A parent simply joining their child's team should not be directed to create and pay for a second program.
The product organizes entered information. It does not replace an official's decisions, eligibility review, school permission procedures, or professional medical advice. A roster entry does not prove an athlete is eligible, and a saved consent or medical record does not certify compliance with every organization's requirements.
Discovery before showing plans
Ask what is difficult today: keeping rosters current, checking attendance, telling parents about schedule changes, arranging team travel, or recording matches. Find out who handles each task and who may approve a subscription.
For scorekeeping, ask whether the program needs one scorebook and one season or multiple scorebooks and seasons. For broader operations, ask who should have staff access, how parents join, and what information needs to be shared privately. Find out whether they already use another WrestleFlow product so you can avoid an incorrect account assumption.
A focused recommendation is: “Let's show one wrestler, one attendance entry, and a practice dual, then compare the plan that fits your program.” Avoid promising unneeded features or starting with a price copied from an old screenshot.
Current plans and the advertised trial
The current Plans & Pricing page shows these web offers:
- Team — $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Full Teams app for the program: roster, attendance, calendar, bus tracking, WrestleRef schedule import, and unlimited scorebooks for duals and tournaments.
- Scorebook — $39.99/year. The published scope is one season and a single scorebook for scoring duals and tournaments with live updates.
- Scorebook Unlimited — $69.99/year. Unlimited scorebooks and seasons for the year.
Use the Team monthly/annual toggle when comparing charges. Annual Team billing is a $99.99 annual charge, not twelve $9.99 payments. These plans cover the organization; do not multiply the plan price by every parent or wrestler.
The website advertises a fourteen-day free trial for Team plans, but the checkout implementation inspected October 17 does not set a trial period. Treat that advertised trial as unverified until support resolves the mismatch. Review the actual checkout before confirming: the amount due now, any displayed trial, first billing date, and renewal terms determine what the customer agrees to. Do not promise a no-card trial or claim that Scorebook plans include the same trial. If checkout does not show the advertised trial, pause the purchase and contact support rather than reassuring the buyer that it will be applied later.
Do not sell an extra event pack or a fifty-event basic-plan allowance from older materials. Those are not the current public offers above. Recommend the smallest plan matching the customer's actual needs, and let the customer read the confirmation themselves.
Lesson 1 — Start a program or join an existing one
Have a prospective new buyer begin from your own current WrestleFlow Teams share link in Residual Apps. Get Started leads to the signup page, which separates Set up a team subscription from I have an invite code.
For a new program, choose the relevant plan. The web account form asks for first name, last name, email address, a password of at least eight characters, and password confirmation. Select Continue to checkout only after reviewing the selected plan badge. Creating an account and confirming a subscription are separate steps.
Returning users use Sign In. If the email already has an account, sign in rather than creating duplicates. Use the current password recovery route when needed. An affiliate should never ask for the customer's password or perform checkout on their behalf.
For a team member, use Join with Invite Code. Enter the supplied code and choose Verify Code. Confirm the intended team/season context, select the appropriate role offered by the form, and complete the account information. Follow any subsequent wrestler step. An invite code joins a program; it is not a sales referral link.
In the installed-app account/pricing flow, the current interface emphasizes signing in or joining the organization's invitation. Do not promise a separate Apple/Google purchase or Restore Purchases button. The team administrator manages organization access; use the controls actually shown for that account and channel.
Lesson 2 — Understand the dashboard and season
After signing in, the dashboard presents tools according to role and access. Relevant entries include Wrestlers, Messages, Attendance, Diet, Calendar, WrestleRef Schedule, Bus Tracking, and Scorebook. Administrative controls include Seasons, Users, Parents, and Plans & Billing. A missing administrative tile can reflect permissions rather than a broken account.
The season selector matters. Before entering a roster, attendance, or match, confirm the intended season. An existing athlete in another season is not necessarily missing from the system. Check this context before adding a duplicate.
An authorized administrator opens Seasons and Create New Season. Enter the season name, state, season type, level, and optional start and end dates. Save with Create Season and inspect the resulting card. The page provides status/default controls such as Activate, Archive, and Set Default where appropriate.
Season setup lets administrators add selected wrestlers and users, and copy selected data from another season. Review what is selected before copying. Carrying records into a new season does not prove the information is current or that consent has been renewed. Invitation controls can generate or regenerate a season code; distribute it only to intended participants.
Lesson 3 — Add and maintain wrestlers
Open Wrestlers and choose + Add Wrestler. The current form includes first and last name, gender, grade, weight class, level, division, date of birth, and optional USA Wrestling number. Enter only information the program is authorized to maintain. Do not invent a birthdate or membership number to complete a demonstration.
Select Add, then find the saved wrestler in the correct season. Read the name, grade, class, and division back against the source information. Use Edit and Save for corrections. A grade and an age-based division are different concepts; do not change a birthdate to force an expected label.
Parents can submit a wrestler through their permitted flow. Submit Wrestler for Approval means staff review may still be needed. Authorized staff use the roster's Approve or Reject controls after confirming the record. Pending status can explain why the expected athlete is not yet treated as approved.
The wrestler card can link to Parents, Medical, Plan, and Diet, according to the account's access. Keep sensitive information out of demos and public screenshots. Deleting a wrestler is a deliberate record change, not a troubleshooting step for filters or a wrong season.
Lesson 4 — Record attendance accurately
Open Attendance, or the relevant roster attendance controls, and verify the selected date and season. Use Mark Present or Mark Absent for the correct athlete. Read the resulting status and correct an accidental entry through the offered remove/change control.
Mark All Present is convenient only when everyone covered by that action was actually present. Do not use it just to make the screen look complete. If attendance is used for school or team decisions, the responsible staff must check the records.
Keep a demonstration in a practice environment with fictional people. A test attendance entry in a live season can become a false program record. Explain that an unmarked athlete is not automatically the same as a verified absence.
Lesson 5 — Create a dual or tournament scorebook
Open Scorebook. The current controls include + New Dual, + New Tournament, Opponents, and Wrestler Stats. Start with a small practice dual before attempting a complex tournament demonstration.
In the new-event form, review Event Name, Date, Gender, Location, and the relevant Opponent Team information. Select Create Event, then open the saved event. Check that it appears under the intended season before entering matches.
Inside the event, assign the correct wrestlers and opponents to the appropriate matches. Verify side, weight class, and opponent spelling before scoring. A technically correct point total attached to the wrong wrestler still produces an incorrect record.
The events list provides Open and other applicable controls. Avoid deleting a real event to resolve a display issue. First confirm the account, season, event type, and whether the page has refreshed.
Lesson 6 — Score and correct a match
Open the intended match and confirm both competitors and the displayed sides. The scoring interface changes available actions based on recorded position and match state. An action being unavailable can reflect the current state rather than a software failure.
Enter the referee's actual scoring decision with the corresponding action, then check the displayed score and match log. Answer coin-toss and position-choice prompts according to what actually occurred. This training teaches recordkeeping; it does not create new officiating rules or settle disputed calls.
The current interface includes Undo, Redo, and period controls. A completed match can offer Undo Last & Edit or Unlock & Edit Match. Use corrections carefully and inspect the full result afterward, because later events may depend on earlier state. Do not randomly press scoring buttons until the total looks right.
After completing a practice match, return to its event and examine the saved result. Review wrestler statistics only after confirming that the correct season and results are included. Before relying on a printout, open print preview and inspect the names, result, and page layout.
Do not promise that all team modules work offline. Prepare the actual device and event before a meet, watch for save/connection errors, and preserve any unsaved work. An interrupted save deserves confirmation before assuming another user's screen has the result.
Lesson 7 — Parents, messages, schedule, and travel
Use Parents or the wrestler's parent link for the appropriate family relationship. Keep each person's account separate and grant only the role they need. An athlete appearing on a parent's screen should reflect the correct relationship, not shared staff credentials.
Use Messages for the team communication workflow available to that role. Check the intended recipients before sending. A demo should show a draft or prepared example rather than notify actual parents. Do not promise that every message channel includes SMS, push, and email unless that exact route is shown and verified.
Calendar organizes events and schedules. Verify the event date, location, and relevant travel details. WrestleRef Schedule is an import tool for the applicable configured relationship; Teams membership is not the same as a referee account or assignment.
Bus Tracking supports trip management, while the parent route provides the family's trip view. Live location depends on a permitted device supplying it and a connection. A map is not a guarantee of a bus's current physical location when updates have stopped. Staff still confirm passengers and safe handoffs using the team's procedures.
The Medical, Plan, and Diet areas concern records and organizational tools. Leave medical, nutrition, weight-management, and eligibility decisions with qualified people and applicable program rules. Do not sell a health or legal guarantee.
Lesson 8 — Manage billing and account access
An administrator can open Account Settings and Subscription & Billing, or use the dashboard's billing link. An active web subscription offers Manage Billing and View Plans. Use Manage Billing for the offered payment-method, plan, or cancellation actions.
If the app says the account is not linked to a billing profile, contact support to connect the existing subscription. Do not create another paid organization as a workaround. Likewise, if a member cannot access a season, check the invitation, account, role, and season access before assuming another purchase is required.
The installed view may give organization subscription guidance instead of the web checkout controls. Follow the current administrator's billing route. Do not invent a store purchase recovery procedure for an app flow that only offers sign-in and invitation access.
Delete My Account is permanent. The owner warning states that deleting the organization owner's account deletes all data for the organization. Read the consequences and preserve needed records; never use deletion to repair a password or billing problem. Account deletion and cancellation should not be treated as interchangeable actions without checking the actual billing result.
Five-minute practice demonstration
Use an isolated practice organization and fictional “Alex Demo” and “Jordan Example.” Do not add practice attendance, messages, parent links, or matches to a customer's real season.
- Ask whether the main need is scorekeeping or complete team operations.
- Show current pricing, including the correct Team and Scorebook amounts.
- Show a prepared season, its roster, and one fictional wrestler's fields.
- Demonstrate one attendance entry or open a prepared dual according to the prospect's need.
- Enter one practice scoring action, review the log, and demonstrate an appropriate correction.
- Show where the administrator manages invitations and billing without sending anything or purchasing.
- Let the prospective buyer open your disclosed referral link and complete their own next step.
Do not demonstrate or promise the advertised Team trial until its checkout mismatch is resolved; review the actual amount due before any purchase. A useful demo leaves the coach able to find the season, wrestler, and event again.
Sales examples and common questions
Introduction: “Is your biggest problem keeping match records, or coordinating rosters, attendance, and parents? WrestleFlow Teams offers scorebook plans and a full Team plan. I can show a small practice dual or the attendance workflow. I'm an affiliate and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases through my link.”
Invited follow-up: “Were you able to find the correct season and the saved practice event? Before choosing a plan, compare whether one scorebook is enough or whether your program needs the full team tools.” This is example wording, not a message already sent.
“Does every parent pay?” The organization plan covers the program. Parents use the intended invitation and access route.
“We already use WrestleFlow.” Confirm the particular product, organization, and subscription. Related branding does not prove Teams entitlement.
“Is Team $49 per month?” Current public Team pricing is $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Use the live pricing and checkout, not older material.
“Is the trial guaranteed without a card?” The site advertises a fourteen-day Team trial, but the buyer must review the actual checkout. Do not promise no-card access or a trial on Scorebook.
“Why can't I see a submitted wrestler?” Check the season, account, role, and approval status before entering another record.
“Will bus location always be live?” It depends on location permission, the tracking device, and connectivity. Check update status and contact staff when needed.
Referral credit, support, and readiness
Published Residual Apps rewards are $4 per qualifying monthly Team payment, $40 on annual Team, $20 on Scorebook, and $30 on Scorebook Unlimited. These are gross program rewards, not guaranteed take-home income. Annual rewards are not monthly commissions. Trials, invitations, athlete records, and free account creation are not paid referrals. Eligibility, refunds, attribution, and program fees affect earnings.
Copy the specific WrestleFlow Teams share link from your own Residual Apps dashboard. Have a new buyer begin there before signup, keeping the affiliate disclosure beside the recommendation. A team invitation or a main-site/referee link is not interchangeable with that tracked product link. Do not promise credit across unverified device or account changes.
For product help, use support@wrestleflow.com, listed on the official support page. Include “WrestleFlow Teams,” account email, season and event reference, device, action, and exact error. Exclude passwords and unnecessary athlete medical information. Commission questions go to support@residualapps.com with the product and dashboard evidence.
Readiness quiz: What does monthly Team cost today? Does a parent need a separate paid program? Is Scorebook's published scope fifty events? Should an advertised trial be checked in checkout? Does the owner's account deletion affect the entire organization? Answers: $9.99; no; no, the current page says one season/single scorebook; yes; yes. Demonstrate the current PHP website's actual controls before recommending it.

Use the app and help us improve it
Use the app yourself before recommending it. Complete one useful workflow in your own account or an authorized demo, then find the saved result again. A paid subscription is not required to become a partner; use the free option or an available preview and be clear about what you have actually tried.
If you use this app, tell us what works, where you get stuck, bugs you can reproduce, and what you wish it did next in Partner Care. Include the app, web/iOS/Android, installed version or browser version, steps, expected result, and what happened. Say whether it affects your own use or a demonstration. Please report unclear training or a screen that differs from this guide too.
Keep customer names, email addresses, medical records, payment details, passwords, and sign-in codes out of feedback. Use fictional examples and remove private information from screenshots. Urgent account or billing problems still belong with the product support route above.
